I'm attending E3 this week and on display is the Capcom Street Fighter 25th Anniversary edition custom FR-S that is on display. This car has the FiveAxis kit, GReddy Exhaust, Stop-Tech brake system, and other goodies. A tournament is being held where the grand prize are the keys to the car.

To celebrate the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary, Capcom is currently organizing a series of tournaments throughout the year in locations across the globe that will include over $500,000 worth of cash, non-cash prizing, and amenities, with the grand prize being a Scion FR-S!

Capcom has partnered with Scion, Five Axis and Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), to create a one-of-a-kind Street Fighter-themed sports car, complete with video entertainment hardware from SCEA and a modified exterior from Five Axis including a custom FIVE:AD aero kit, spoiler and wheels.

Took some shots from today. I'll be back on the showfloor tomorrow... Enjoy!

wow, I wish I was really competitive at video games ( I just play for fun, and have fun, but I usually get worked lol) I'd go down and compete...

Someone is gonna be so happy when they win that thing!

So that's what it looks like, my brother plans on competing for it. He doesn't care much for the FR-S, but that paint job got him all hyped for it! Is it manual or auto?

ichitaka05 06-06-2012 12:37 AM

I'm more amazed to see it has STOPTECH's BBK more than other stuff...

Realized I didnt get a chance to snap a shot of the interior. The car is Auto though. And has the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH headunit installed and running Street Fighter x Tekken.

Two monitors were also installed right behind the front seats...

wow...wish i could of gone :(

Godzilla35 06-06-2012 05:14 AM

wow... normally not a fan of two-toned cars at all, but this looks really sleek / futuristic... kinda like a FR-S-F haha

Shin 06-06-2012 11:38 AM

Yeah this paint job is nice, i'm actually thinking of getting my FR-S in whiteout and mimicking this paint job with plastidip

Thanks for sharing; I've been curious how this would look when I first heard it was going to be a prize in the tournament. I was expecting more dark reds/blacks or blues visually but this ain't bad. What are those blue spots on the headlights?

This smells of FT86CLUB Homepage Featured Story, IMO.

meh, paint jobs okay. im just glad i got to get a better look at the 5axis kit! looks alright

SpyderDan 06-07-2012 03:23 AM

Glad I checked to see if somebody posted this yet before I posted my pics! These pictures are better than mine anyway (looks like they moved the ropes closer to the car today).

The body kit looks much better on this car than it did on the black car they showed at Toyotafest last month. I'm surprised at how much I liked the 2-tone paint as well. It kinda seems like a modern take on the panda AE86 scheme. The red accents were a nice touch.

I was happy to see the StopTech brake kit too. I really like their brake kit on my MR-S. Nice parts, and should be readily available and for a much more reasonable price than the TRD brakes.

I believe they replaced the standard halogen bulbs with a blue one.

I guess I am in the minority cos I think it's hideous.

Brakes look nice. Rims meh but might be OK on a 1 tone paint job. All the best lines in the car have been painted out with that two tone. Ricey blue LED running lights. Not a fan of those skirts/front bar.

In summary: Ew.

Looks great!
