"Service Appointment"

Bought my car in June and just received a call for a service appointment provided by my warranty. They do oil change, tire rotation and brake check? If I remember what she told me...I was at work when she called.

Anyone trust a Toyota dealership to do any of this to your car in the SoCal region? I can go to any dealership she said, as the one i bought my car from isn't that local...

Thanks.

Yea, I went to Longo for my service. Been there three times since. But every dealer ship has its struggles...

I've had good luck with DCH Toyota in Torrance. They've done most of my oil changes, they swapped out my fuel pump, and they recently diagnosed my release bearing failure.

Their service advisers are awesome, particularly Margaret, but I have had some issues with the tech before (during one of my schedule services they completely forgot to rotate my tires).

For every horror story, there's usually numerous 'happy' stories that remain untold.

Go feel out the service crew if you're uncertain. I'm not sure how it is around the OC area, but DCH and South Bay Toyota are excellent.

As for my car, I can't speak because I attend Subaru dealerships. In that sense, South Coast Subaru and Pacific Subaru have been awesome.

When you buy a new car you get Toyota Care. Its a complementary package for the first few maint services. Most Toyota/Scion gets first 5 miant complementary. The FRS however is only the first 3. But thats due to the nature of it having a Subaru engine and the service interval is different for Subarus. Toyota/Scion is every 5k miles and the FRS is every 7.5k miles.

Go to Pasadena of Toyota! They will treat you and your car amazing! If you want really good care I can recommend you to my buddy that works on my car(:

Took mine to Moss in Moreno Valley for its first oil change, early on mileage but not on time, no problems...
