Yeah, I know there's a "What Kind of Work Do You Do?" thread, but how does your Twin fit in?

I work in a WWII vintage aircraft hangar, building electrical enclosures for one of the Google[x] projects.

My car is my photo gear hauler, gets me to location, and is occasionally used as a chase car.

Lol weird subject unless you work somewhere kinda cool but here it is in the 8th floor of my building's lot. I usually try and get that corner spot where no one could get near.

David, I want your job. I'll switch with you, I'm a soon-to-be CPA lol

The garage at my workplace sucks and has anorexic parking spaces (some of the SUVs can't actually fit in a single spot), so I always try to get this corner spot and park off to the left.

The parking attendants are awesome though. They'll wave or give me a thumbs up when I pull in, so at least I know the car is safe down there.

Thing is, there is actually demand for your skillset. My fiance was scraping by doing the artsy thing for a while, but wasn't getting enough work. Wound up being an assistant accountant for a non-profit, and liked it. Now she is in school now and will be sitting for her CPA this summer. She lined up a job with one of the big 4 firms within the first month of being in school!

I get big jobs every so often, so there are months where I live stress free and love what I do. But there are months where I have no work, bids fall through, and I wonder WTH I'm doing. THE STRUGGLE.

I hope that one day I can do what i love and make $ with it. I "like" accounting. I doubt that there are many people in the world that "love" it...but surprisingly I got a coworker like that. Lady gets excited over Journal Entries and auditing an account to find a mistake.:bonk:
