It's pretty good start for them using CF. In next few year, CF will cost significantly cheaper than it is today.

I think we have a LOOOONG way to go before that happens.

Hmm.. lets hope we see some TRD CF body pieces at decent prices then.

Given the more and more people making pre-preg autoclaved CF, it already exposing the benefits of it and will hopefully make the transistion soon into mid priced production vehicles. I don't see it as being the exotic material it once used to be say in about 5 years. *crossing my fingers of course*

Did anyone notice that the article said the company will supply CF for the hood and roof of the LFA? Um, what happened to the fancy Toyota computerized looms? And the fact that the majority of the LFA already IS carbon?

carbon fiber **material** . Could be strands of CF for all we know.

'Material' is often the term for woven fabric when talking about textiles.

But you could be right...
