It has those ribbed push buttons that are sized to hold the piece but not get all torn up pulling them out.

I mounted my shelf to the same mounts as the seatbacks and it can tilt and access the space below.

Hello Everyone!

I hate to necro a thread but I just received & installed the Schrader kit...

First impressions are that the kit is very complete and well made... Instructions are good but a bit vague in some areas but nothing a DIY'r can't handle!

First about Schrader Performance, we found there product on Tuesday, decide to buy on Wednesday morning and had a shipping receipt that afternoon... The package arrived on Friday well packaged and on time! Awesome service!!

Note: I intended to post pics but I'm having trouble uploading from my iPhone...

The first job was to remove the rear seats and hardware... This includes removing rear seat side panels. The instructions are very useful here. Removing the baby seat anchor and the belt return roller bracket are not clearly stated and because of time issues decided to leave them until a later date.

We removed all of the seatbelt hardware we could as suggested by the instructions. Note the upper seat bracket connected to the package tray has two 12mm bolts not one... Also save the two seat bottom retention bolts you will need those at the end along with two noted lower seat support brackets bolts mentioned in the instructions...

Once everything that you plan to remove or can remove is done it is now time to reinstall the side panels and secure trunk lining. Your now ready to install the kit!

If you follow the installation instructions you won't have any problems as it goes together with simple trim rivits.

The whole job took my wife and I about two hours most of that was trying to get the return roller belt bracket out, as noted above we decided to leave that as a winter project.. LOL. Simple DIY'r tools are all that is needed plus a 6 inch 3/8 extension is helpful.

Before I wrote this post I intended to weight everything to confirm Schrader's claim that you save 23lbs but my sons have manage to misplace my special fish scale... :-). My calibrated arm says the overall is close, the factory seats are light and most of the weight savings comes from the seat back and hardware!

Now the product is well made and fits very well. The color of the interior felt matches the factory very nicely. You still remove the upright partition and use the as a pass thru.. Both the vertical partition and the seat bottom covers have jute already added for sound deadening plus additional is provided if you like...

Our brief test ride show a mild increase in interior noise at 100mph but not as bad as the increase I got from adding Whiteline rear subframe bushings... ;-)

My conclusion... If you have a daily driver and want to save some weight and get some better usability out of area behind the main seats this the kit for you. If you are Racer / Bling / Track guy there are lighter options available. Once I resolve upload issue I will update this post with some pics!
