Someone backed into my baby...

Found this huge "door ding" on my baby when I left office today. Good thing the other guy left a note. Hopefuly insurance will replace the door for me.

Sorry to hear about this :( - I'm not even sure how someone managed this considering the spot you're parked in.

I hope the outcome works out for you with the situation.

Sorry to see that happen. Had similar and had new door installed. The problem is that the doors on these cars are a PITA to get put together right. Been back a few times to get stuff adjusted to the point where they are getting tired of seeing me: wind noise, door stop came loose and there is a rattle developing in the door after 2 months.

Was that in SF?

NWFRS 12-09-2014 06:35 AM

S#it. Same thing happened to this guy.

So close to the same I would just back into the other side. throw some Ferrari stickers on it and call it a day!

Bummer - big time.
Looks like it's limited to the door, no?
If so, this could simplify the fix.

It's a 10 series limited. Hope they can match that color.

billyk 12-09-2014 08:14 AM

The silver 10 series is not Argento?
Even if it's a non-standard color, a good shop should be able to do a spot-on match.

Damn dude, I think that only qualifies as a "ding" in Texas.

Similar thing happened to me years ago, but whomever did it hit the passenger's side of my car so I didn't even know until the next day when my friend asked wtf happened.

Kimsey47 12-09-2014 11:31 AM

May sound weird saying this but I'm happy for you! Dude left a note which is a rarity on this forum when this type of stuff happens. You may have had damage caused by the accident but at least you appear to have to deal with someone who has some class, a soul, and a heart.

try PDR first

Koa 12-09-2014 12:03 PM

PDR specialist will get that out no problem and within a couple hours (looks almost like a 30 min job for a pro), +1 for this ^

Was this on top of Home Depot in Hollywood?
