How reliable are the twins?

How reliable are the twins?
The day I bought the car, it had 118 Miles on it and the dealer put 87 gas in it
How many miles did your car have off the dealership lot? (only new)

Paranoid my car has already been teared up before it's break-in period too.
Super paranoid.

About 12 miles.

Don't worry about it ..... just follow the break in guidelines and put premium gas in it.

Then follow the maintenance schedule.

It will be OKaaaaa, the little car is pretty tough .......

My car had 7km (4.34 Miles) on it.

They're pretty reliable for what they are.

I had about 64kms on mine when I picked it up. Just get premium gas in there asap and swap the engine oil once you're done breaking it in. The hardest part about this car is the break in period... You'll want to push it over 4k RPMs where it comes alive but your poor soul has to resist

Until you don't care about reliability,

I hope you got a good deal, for picking it up with 118 miles, the fr-s they specifically let me test drive had 40 miles on the ODO and my salesmen let me red line it,

EpicNameBro 12-09-2014 01:57 AM

Depends on how you drive it and what mods you do... it's been very well documented what happens when you boost or slam the shit of this car on here. Those seem to be the two popular routes...

I had 18 miles on my car when I got it in October 2014 with a full tank of premium gas.

No problems at all, had it since Aug 2013. Reliability is on par with my Toyota and Honda.

How many miles on it when you got it off the dealership lot?

Mine was perfectly reliable until the local subaru dealer did the second routine service and then it kept stalling on idle.
I took it back and they reset the ecu back to learning mode which made it return to nanny learning state for the next 200 kms.
It is going fine now , but i wonder about the reliability of the monkeys at subaru!

Can you give me an example of stalling on idle?

My car when I turn it on sometimes it revs on its own it goes down then back up you hear this vroom going on when the car is in park, not sure if its heating the car up or anything is this normal?
