Dont bother with Alpha Motorsports.

I "purchased" an APR lip from them late August, and after 12 weeks and many one-sided email conversations I decided to try another Vendor. That Vendor shipped it next business day.

I was told by Alpha Motorsports that they were having immense difficulties with APR.
The other Vendor checked with APR and was told it was in stock, and shipped next day.

I was told by Alpha Motorsports that they had never had so much difficulty dealing with a vendor.
I was told by the other vendor that it was simple.

I paid $750 (shipped to my door) to Alpha motorsports. (managed to get that back through paypal <<<lifesaver.)
I paid $775 through the other vendor (shipped to my door)

They had terrible communication, excuse after excuse, and after waiting 12 weeks I went with another vendor.

So much for helping out a Canadian company. Not worth your time. :bs:

Basically.. Dont buy from Alpha Motorsports. :barf:

I have no idea who that company is but I've been selling APR parts including having my own Widebody done by APR as well for at least a year and a half or so. Never had a single complaint about any instance I've ever had with APR. I get emails back from my account rep over there in about 20 minutes unless it's after hours.

Not sure the specifics of this situation but just wanted to say that I personally have had good experiences with @AlphaMotorsports.ca on a few occasions. Sorry for your misfortune op!

They were good and had great bbq's before. Past few months I haven't been able to contact them by pm, phone, email or Facebook. Don't know what happened.

Sometimes businesses drop the ball. You cannot expect every single customer to be happy or have a great experience.

I recently contacted them over Facebook for Tom's tails. They replied same day and gave me a amazing price (better then any other vendor). The next day I came to pick them up and paid. Had zero issues.

We talked about them possibly getting some of pt-tunings stuff. The header specifically and told them to get in touch with me when they get a reply so I will be looking forward to doing business with them again

I didn't mind that they dropped the ball after the first month. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. But then it happened again. "Okay.. Everyone makes mistakes." I thought, then it happened the THIRD time, (3 months later now).
So then another vendor tells me that he contacted APR same day as I ask him, and he says they have one on hand. That's the part that pissed me off. If shipping was the issue (which I'm led to believe now, maybe they were going to lose money on the deal.. Who knows) then tell me. If they had come back after 2 or 3 weeks saying "hey you know what, we screwed up the shipping quote and can't supply it at the price you paid", I would understand. But instead, they don't email me back 75% of the time, don't update me until I call or say I'm going to dispute the sale on paypal.

It's just very disappointing. I've heard good things about them, but that's my experience. I won't be giving them a second chance.

I'll chime in and say that a few months ago I tired to order a Berk HFC frontpipe from them. After about four months of waiting and the odd back and forth via email they had to cancel it, since apparently Berk wasn't replying to them anymore. They could have been more on top of it, but I don't blame them. They seemed like decent guys who just may not have the best vendor relationships. Who knows.

In all, if they have something in the future for the right price, I'd still try doing business with them. Because cost savings, lol.
