OFT launch control inop.

Hey guys. Just got my OFT in the mail, finally. Opened it up and flashed with the stage 2 UEL tune, and it seems like it's livened up the engine so I'd assume the flash worked, but launch control isn't activating. I even flashed it again just to make sure. I've searched and searched, but haven't seen any other issues like this.

Anyone else have issues with it?
Car is a limited 6MT with just a Tomei UEL and muffler delete.
Thanks

What is your calibration ID? Some don't suoport LC yet.

That CAL ID does support Launch control and flat foot shift. How are you trying to activate it?

TCS/Stability control off, clutch in, 1st gear, throttle all the way open.

oft rom set LC at about 5800 rpm unless you mod it see links below

are you using the 2.062 tunes or the old 1.5x tunes ??

Where would I be able to check?
Hardware version is 0100, and software is 0132. Not sure if these are at all related to the tunes, though
File in ECU: Stage2 UEL B01C.bin

if you using the preloaded tunes on oft its hard to tell easily.

if its only a couple of months old it probably v2 tunes but older than that it maybe v1.5 x

probably best to go to the oft download site and download the V2.062 tunes and definition files just to be sure, always use the definitions that come with the tune download for editing.

@shifter907 please post here what you find out. I also just installed my OFT on Friday and have not been able to get these 2 items working yet. (Received Friday, purchased directly from open flash website, so I assume it has the v2 tunes on it already)

THIS

If you don't have NLS or FFS working on your OFT tune and you have a CAL ID that supports these features, it is likely that the tunes that get auto-generated by the OFT were created before those features where released. To run the latest and greatest maps, it's always advisable to download the most current map folder from the website and manually upload the desired tune. I have confirmed that all the v2.062 B01C tune files all have FFS and LC enabled :)

I got a question on the launch control. Do you have to engage the clutch and put in first gear to active the launch control? I ask because, when i step on my throttler without engaging the clutch, its still active my launch control.I don't know if it suppose to do that?

Stupid question from me; how do I upload the new 2.062 maps to the tablet? Installed openflash manager, but I and see where or how to upload them.

Not a stupid question at all. Just connect your OFT to your laptop and run OpenFlash Manager software with a WIFI connection. After your OFT gets all the latest updates, go to UPLOADs. You will see 5 memory slots already filled with the OTS tune files that your OFT auto-generated when you installed it. Just delete one (click the red X next to it), then in its place, select the desired map from the OTS map folder that you downloaded. After that, click START at the bottom of the screen. When complete, disconnect from laptop and connect to car. Go to TUNING->WRITE and then select the new map and follow prompts from there. Pretty simple!

Cheers
Shiv
