look at this ad I stumbled across on craigslist. Either this guy is genuinely stupid and has no idea what he's been driving, or he's a liar and trying to con.....who? 10yr old kids? People who can't read? Someone who's just looking for a blue car with wheels?

effin hilarious, lol.

It's obviously a joke...not a funny one, but a joke nonetheless.

Wilsonk227 12-06-2014 11:06 PM

the funny part is that he listed it as a manual when it's not D:

CBRZY 12-06-2014 11:19 PM

"6-speed manual transmission with Turbo button for when you want speed! Car flys when you jump on the gas, push the turbo button, and swiftly accelerate from gear 1 to gear 6."

Well looks like a joke for sure.
And those pictures of the interior are from the Subaru website, those aren't even pictures of his car, so manual or auto, no idea because those pictures aren't his. Besides, where's the turbo button?? Someone should report this post for stupidity

Porsche Boxster engine too. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I LOL'ed so hard I got cancer.

My favorite bit is the photos he pulled from press releases.

Edit: And probably this site too, the interior shot is of a silver car.

Either a scam or a rebuilt title. Why would anyone waste time trolling craigslist buyers on a car like this?

extrashaky 12-08-2014 12:19 AM

I'm not sure what to think of this. I searched the phone number in the listing and within five minutes had Rob's full name, resume, home address and picture. He's so easy to find that either he's really trying to sell this car, or someone is punking him.

If you look closely, he has pics of two different interiors. One is a manual, the other is an automatic.

And the action shot of the car in motion on the road is from Motor Trend.

And the shots of the car in the driveway are NOT from his neighborhood. If you look at his house on Google Maps, it becomes immediately obvious those pics were taken at some other location.

I think I'm leaning toward scam. I don't understand why this guy would put his own home phone number on the listing, though.

:laughabove: you would make a good detective. The BRZ ad is hilarious...turbo button?:eyebulge:

chaoskaze 12-08-2014 04:37 AM

Behold, all thing he listed can be true if BRZ start at 45000.........Wait don't that just put BRZ in the same price range with Porsche boxer? lol

Says he's wanting to go to law school... Sounds like a lawyer wrote the ad with all the skewed information. Should do well in his chosen profession!

brandonblt2 12-08-2014 12:14 PM

I think someone is pranking there friend. By putting there friends car online and for sale people will begin to constantly call him asking if its for sale since it seems like such a great deal. I had a friend do it to someone before.
