Insurance

Just curious what kind of premiums you guys are paying for your BRZ/FRSs... Either monthly, semi annually or annually... And who do you have for insurance?

Jesse36m3 12-04-2014 07:08 AM

Allstate, Male, 25, $120/mo.

raven1231 12-04-2014 07:14 AM

male 25 $190 for both frs and 2014 corolla

USAA. $65 a month. $300k/500k limits. Comprehensive/Collision full coverage.
34 Years old. Male.

28/M
GEICO, $94 a month
$25k/$50k bodily, $100k property, and it would be even less for me cause of my collision coverage, I have a $100 deductible and it's worth it lol.

Damn! Looks like I need to reconsider mine. I have state farm and they were cheaper for all my other vehicles. Then u get this thing and it's over 7 hundo every 6 months for this car alone!

HAWAIICALIVEGAZ 12-04-2014 02:33 PM

I'm 33 and have a clean record!

Ouch. That seems really high.

g0ast 12-04-2014 02:49 PM

Yea I went State Farm too when I first got this, it was about another $200 every 6 months and I didn't get anything better. And if you think about it, the only time you care about your insurance is when you need an adjuster to check out your claim. Customer service doesn't really matter anywhere else.

HAWAIICALIVEGAZ 12-04-2014 03:03 PM

It does seem pretty high doesn't it!? And I have discounts on top of it, like multi car, home owners etc... But it seems that Jesse might be paying about the same as me with a 120 mo payment.... hmmm, time to go insurance shopping I think.

I have state farm and it's about $155/mo for a 6 mo -- I am 29/m

Looks like I need to reconsider as well, but if you look at yours. $700 for 6 mo = $116.67/mo. It's really not that terrible

R3NIK 12-04-2014 07:23 PM

29 and about $75/month at State Farm, full coverage & glass with multiline discount. Clean record for a long time. Nothing but excellence from State Farm.

HAWAIICALIVEGAZ 12-04-2014 07:24 PM

Oh I guess I forgot to ask what model fr-s/brz... that matters right? I have a limited

Pkush 12-04-2014 07:55 PM

Country Financial, 21, $500 per 6 months. Clean record (but that doesn't matter, my dad is the "main" driver of my car).

Also, Series.Blue is a tad more expensive insurance wise (that's what my agent told me after he pulled up the VIN)
