FR-S FRONT SEATS
has anyone had any comfort issues sitting in the drivers seat? have the seats loosened up after driving? mainly the top part of the seat where your shoulder blades would hit.

There has to be some sort of difference then, becasue the guy i spoke with about the complaint, he had sat in an A/T

FRS seats are all the same, no matter the Trans, lol. Maybe you guys just didn't adjust to the seats properly.

I know that they fit me fine, but I would have been uncomfortable in them before I lost 90 lbs! |
Im a fat ass and dont have issues. I think people who have complained about lumbar support have them reclined too much. I find these more comfortable the higher the backrest is personally.

I'm 6'1" 195lbs and I love the seats.
They are far more comfortable than the seats in my SRT-4 Neon. I can already tell they are going to be good on long trips. |
for what its worth, the first day i drove 200 miles and my upper back was sore. i haven't driven it for any extended period of time since, but they feel fine during my daily commute.

Only thing I have noticed is that the front edge of the seat can dig into the bottom of your thigh, particularly when you depress the clutch. But I also found this on the TC as well. Pumping up the base helps rotate the rear of the base relative to the front, so it helps a bit.

I sat in 3 FRS cars and I fit like a glove in the seat. I do have wide shoulders. It is a snug fit but doable. I need to get used to it's racing style seats. I'm used to 2000 Tacoma 4x4 seats. Also when the seats break in, the seat will be molded to my body.
Once I tried to sit in a RX8 but the seat was so narrow, my back was unable touch the backrest. My friend got stuck in the seat. But you should have no problem with the seat with the FRS seat. |

i think part of it was nerves. its my first new car and first MT car and parts of my drive were through rush hour traffic by the george washington bridge :bonk:. using all four limbs and a good deal of concentration while driving was new and a bit taxing. pretty fun now though! |
