They wanted $4500, me to return my car to stock, and 4-6 weeks to test and tune it.

I didn't have the stock parts so it was a no go. They did say that was a discounted price from their retail price, however.

It seems insane that would charge you anything. To let them keep your basically new vehicle for 4-6 weeks and use it for R&D of a new product, I think getting S/C for free would be a no-brainer, especially considering they're not going to be able to resell the one they used on your vehicle

That's another reason I turned it down. I'd have a lot of options in the 4500-5000 range, and none of them require 4-6 weeks and for me to return my car to stock for them.

I'd basically be paying for the pride of being a beta test vehicle, but that's still me paying them 20 bucks an hour to hold onto my car for a month and a half.

They said that installed and running $4500 and that that was a discount...The kit itself may not be more than the $4500...my guess is they're trying to just get the value out of the S/C since they will have to leave it in the test car.

Jaden <---------------also looked into using my car as a test car.

I have no idea why you wouldn't think an E-force charger would be cheaper than a cosworth kit.

Did you check the prices for e-force chargers on other cars?
