Automatic FR-S randomly stalls when Idling

Hi guys trying to see what could be the problem here. At first the check engine light came up and I took it to the dealer to get looked at and they said it was something to do with the RPM dropping so they reset the computer in the engine and it seemed to work fine for like a few days.

Then unfortunately the check engine light came back on and it started stalling while I'm idling randomly (ex. stopped at a red light, parked, or sitting in a drive thru.). This happened about 3-4 times in the last week and I'm about to take it back but seeing if anybody has ideas of what it could be on here.

The mods I have installed for performance aren't very much but I have redone the Intake and installed an axleback exaust (Greddy SP elite)

Does the idle rpm stay steady (other than the stalls) while idling, or does it move around? I would take it back to dealer immediately.

Assuming your intake and exhaust installs are clear and the problem didn't coincide with the mods.

It varies each time I drive it but sometimes the RPM will move around and sometimes it's stable. I am defiantly taking it back was just wondering if anybody had seem this problem before.

Also I don't think it's a problem with the mods because they were fairly simple installs and each took around 20 minutes to do. Also I had installed them almost a year ago with no problems until a couple weeks ago.

Return the intake to stock. Don't return the axleback to stock. If they give you any grief about the axleback, then your dealership officially will suck to do warranty work with.

Thanks for your input. Was going to leave the exhaust in there because it is a bitch to take out and in. Those rubber hooks are a fucking PAIN.

Look up "exhaust hanger tool" on google :)

But I'm with the rest, the axle back isn't going to effect the car in this way (unless it's somehow heavily restrictive, but I'd think you'd notice...)

I have an AT also and I have the k&n drop in, perrrin catback, and borla headers and I have read a lot online everyone has there view on it. I have 11k miles on it and since day one it always moves around at idle for me and if its a very cold morning ill hear a thud or two after 10 seconds which I still haven't got an answer for that -_-.
