HKS Single exit Backfiring
 

Hey I recently put on the HKS single exit cat back and since then I've been getting a popping sound, what I imagine is backfiring on sometimes lift off of throttle and cold starts. Didn't see anything in search of it but is it just running rich? The gas mileage has not taken a hit.

Its the extra JDM air that comes in the box that's burning off..

I don't understand the problem.

I have the FB turbo kit, and full catless 3'' with Tomei 80r single exit, and it backfores occasionally. I like it.

I have a friend running the AVO turbokit as well, heard it backfiring at an autocross recently. It was awesomeeeeeee

My setup back fires. Can't say I really care for it though.

Fb kit on e85 with cat less fb dual exhaust backfires on heal toe down shifts everytime on the blip afr s are very good. It's normal.
