EFR Turbo

Just wanting to see how many people are running the Bog Warner EFR turbos in their cars? Please list what turbo size and how many lbs of boost you are running and gas used. Im using the EFR 7064 with E85 471wrhp@16lbs of boost on stock motor. Motor is built now with Dynasty fuel return system with fuel rails. Just waiting to break the motor in before turning boost up.

Nice numbers... I don't have a EFR yet, but plan on purchasing a 7670 in a couple months.

Subbed

Post is useless without torque number.

Any gearbox issues?

Some have claimed to have blown several with power similar to yours.

Fabron757 12-02-2014 07:04 PM

Nope, haven't had any issues yet. But how ever i only go fast on a freeway and not from a dead stop. But i might blow the tranny in a few days once im done breaking in this new motor and turning up the boost.

bakerr6 12-02-2014 09:56 PM

Mine is going on now. 6758.

I won't be running big boost anytime soon though as I'm saving for a bigger house before I get a new motor

Torque is pretty low. What compression are you running? Didn't see it anywhere.

10:1

i've been toying with the idea..
when do you start building boost? and when do you hit full boost?

yomny 12-09-2014 09:46 AM

I was considering the 71/63 .80 offered by full race on their kits(t4 twinscroll). What's the difference besides the wheel size between the 70 and the 71.. i see the 7064 costs almost double on FR's kit. Hows the performance of these, are you using the boost controller solenoid on the comp housing, is the bov any good? How or better yet where do you connect it to on our cars?

There shouldn't be any real price difference between the 7064 and the 7163. My understanding is that the 7163 is new for 2014. The housing options can change the price a little:
