Just ordered a Challenger Hellcat. I couldn't help myself since I have been thinking about picking up a SRT8.

It is scheduled to be built in the spring and hopefully I will have it by June 1, 2015.

Out of curiosity, what part of Michigan are you in?

How much was it?

I work for a Dealer Group so I get it for invoice. It made it a no brainer, if I don't end up wanting to keep it I will be able to sell it for as much or more than what I paid for it. The ones we are selling outright are going got about 10k or more over sticker.

700HP for under $100k? $58K to be exact...? And yet you dare usher those words?

As someone who has an RS7 in their driveway and people call that car a deal at $105K, the Hellcat(s) are the best deal since you could buy a Aston DB9 for the same price of a 911 years ago...

I guess that's one way to look at it, but then again you can't take it with you and what's the point if you can't enjoy it?

I actually used to live in Canton for about 2 year, I work at the Toyota Tech Center in Saline and live in Ann Arbor now. Perhaps I'll see you at one of the Cars & Coffees in summer. Congrats! :)

*edit: Looking at your mod list, I think we've met. I own the orange FR-S and was Ken's friend that helped install the SC on your car actually! We talked briefly at one of the Tuesday meets this year.

Next time you have money to spend let me know. I'd love a JRSC kit :D

Also buy a second Hellcat. Put the engine in the FR-S. Put the FR-S engine in the Hellcat. Sell Hellcat. Hilarity ensues.

Yes I remember. Hopefully I will be able to get to more meets next year. I was out of state 25 weeks so far this year with another 2 week trip to NorCal coming soon.

On a side note, they had a FR-S RS come in yesterday.

Moron ran a stop sign at over 50mph, I didn't see it coming at all. One second everything is fine and I'm talking to my wife then BAM I get punched in the face by an airbag. I got hosed, because it was the front of my car and I apparently didn't do anything to avoid the accident I took a 10% hit on the insurance plus the car was 9 months old so another 20% hit left me with a couple hundred bucks more than I owed. Without those two hits I would have been $10k+ on the positive side. At least all four of us in the car walked away with the most minor scratches and I had an airbag burn on my forearm.
