Rear bumper damage.
So I have read about people fixing scuffs on the interior with a heat gun. Would this be possible to do on the rear bumper. I have a couple of scuffs that look like this:

Thanks in advance! |
It looks like mainly just surface scratches/damage. Honestly given the texture on the panel you could always try using a sharpie to make it look less obvious. Just fill in the scratches. Being that low/angle on the car I don't think I would pay it much more attention personally.

I like the color of your car BTW.

I would try heat, knowing it won't 100% fix, but may help 40%, and maybe some back to black or something to darken it.
not much to do without wrecking the pattern Be warned, when I did my interior, heat only helped so much, and when I thought more heat would seal the deal, it discolored the panel slightly. Not a problem since interior is always dark, but you don't wanna burn the bumper you always see :) |
