negative equity FTW!

Hmm yeah I know that's gonna turn some away -_-

$600 on a lease? Damn.

This will be a tough one to get rid of. You can buy a used frs for that lease price.

You can buy a BRAND NEW FRS for less than that lease price!

I understand that getting someone to take over will be difficult, I didn't plan on having this happen. But I'm hoping that someone will want a 10 series enough to overlook the price.... that said, any advice as to how I might sweeten the deal are welcome.

Try offering a discount maybe? What's the buyout price on it right now?

I don't think any sane person would be willing to pay more on a lease then buying the car used or even new. What made you lease the car instead of financing it? Looking at the lease amount you pay, you would have been better off financing it for 5 years.

That's too high a lease payment and too long a lease term. Nobody would be desperate enough to do a lease takeover on this. Afraid the only way around this is to pay down a good chunk of that lease, but if you had the means to do that, you wouldn't need to get rid of the car in the first place.

ouch
that's my financing on my 2013 frs that i got new with some extra stuff

good luck.......you might have to come up with a cash incentive in order to find someone to pay so much for a lease
probably a high cash incentive

brzr 11-26-2014 02:04 PM

you should also get rid of that "too tall for it" comment

Mr.Impreza 11-26-2014 04:39 PM

Not sure if you have a smartphone with a data plan, but you should give that up also...just saying cause i see a lot of people have money issues yet they all have expensive smartphones with data plans.

But yeah this will be tough for you. It took me 1 month to do a lease takeover on my BMW which had 5grand down and a 490 a month payment, and people were still looking for a better deal....so yeah, i would first try to see other options like spend less, don't go out drinking at bars, get rid of a data plan, make home-made food etc...

Not trying to be a jerk, just giving advice because i don't think this will go quick since there is no incentive.
Sorry if my post makes you mad.

Damn if you guys are saying 276/m for a lease is high I feel retarded :O
