help with spacers to clear ap sprint kit with stock rims
 

Hi Guys,

I put my winter set up today but I forgot that stock rims don't clear the ap sprint kit in the front. So what is the smallest spacer to clear the kit with stock studs. Please let me know since I have winter tires in the back and performance summer tires in the front :(

There was a dude who told me that xxr 523 wheel or something similar so he had 8.25 width and 17 inch which makes a 25mm minimum o.o

Get 30mm spacer just in case.

Don't know about stock studs but 12mm spacers I got from Amazon cleared the Sprint kit with stock rims on extended studs. I'm also in NY and I swapped to stock calipers/rotors/pads for the winter to avoid salt damage. Sprint kit uses steel pistons without rubber dust boots so road salt could damage them. I was told that Essex rebuilds them for $200.

I don't know about using stock studs, but the Essex site states a 10mm spacer is required for the USDM OEM wheels to clear the Sprint kit.

That said, I too would consider a swap to stock for the winter.

I remember there was a thread that I can't find of someone with the mockups of every brake kits... :3
