Blue button under steering wheel
 

Anyone know what this button is under my steering wheel? I have a 2015 BRZ Series.Blue. I have no idea what it is. I could not find anything online.

Ugh! I'll post a pic tomorrow pic size restrictions here suck. I will need to resize the image and post later. In the meantime if anyone has any ideas let me know.

I'm curious...wasn't there a similar button on the 10-series FR-S that would let you turn the interior lighting effects on and off?

Damn, now you got me curious and I wanna go check what's under my steering wheel. But no I'll be patient and wait for your picture.

Just a guess. If it's really low beneath the steering wheel, is it the footwell illumination light?

Image should be attached. If it is not a good pic I can get more.

That is a good suggestion; it may be for the illumination kit, except as far as I know I do not have one, which the button appears to do nothing so that might make sense, except why do I have the button if I do not have the illumination kit?

NOPE......that's the blue PILL.........:lol:

I believe that someone else way back found a button similar to yours and it was for an alarm system that either was or wasn't installed. Try a search...

Oh.....you were expecting some F&F pic huh?

Ya. thats part of a security system. mine looks similar, although the button on mine is a much nicer shade of blue and flashes a small blue LED when the car is locked.

That is the turbo button.

ask your dealer to remove it before it blows up your car
