Man shot dead for turning around in the wrong driveway

How is it possible that killing someone was a misdemeanor???

I can't even comprehend this.

NemesisPrime909 11-18-2014 02:59 PM

"oh a strange car is in my driveway, let me go out and shoot the driver."

That was the gun making the neighborhood safer. I certainly feel safer knowing I could be killed by some paranoid idiot for using an empty patch of concrete for <5 seconds. /s

Geez. That is pretty horrible. His guns should def be taken away from him if he's not going to jail. Like the family, I agree there's no point in him going to jail because it serves no purpose at his age. He should be forced to see a psychiatrist though. No one should come out and just shoot someone for being on their driveway. That is not the way a sane individual thinks.

He murdered someone in cold blood for no reason. He should be in jail.

my neighbors are crazy about people turning around in there driveway

we live on a lake near a Castle that is a place for shows etc etc, on the weekends we can get alot of traffic, its not hard to find but for people not used to the area, people get lost in the back roads, my neighbor will sit outside and freak out at people who look like they are going to turn around there driveway, dont understand why

people are so fucked up...

Man what a crazy world. Shooting at someone for pulling into the wrong driveway. Looks like the shooter was an old man. I'm guessing he was just scared.

Many people aren't emotionally stable enough to responsibly use guns. Either they'll get angry and draw, or they'll get scared and shoot first and ask questions later.

Sad story for the kid who got shot. The old man should stop being a coward and apologize to the family. Least he can do after killing their son.

Let me guess...the shooter wasn't black.

Meanwhile in Canada:

Kamloops resident Steven Seidel has been convicted on three counts of animal cruelty in a disturbing case involving a family pet, Oreo. BC SPCA investigators recommended the charges against Seidel after determining that he strangled the cat with his bare hands last June. The body of the deceased cat was found in a garbage dumpster behind the building where Seidel lived.
“It is so disturbing to think that an innocent animal would have suffered and died under such horrifying and unnecessary circumstances,” said Marcie Moriarty, chief prevention and enforcement officer for the BC SPCA. “While nothing can undo the suffering that Oreo endured, we are satisfied that justice will be served for this poor animal.”
Sentencing will be handed down in the case in two months, the judge said today. Seidel faces up to 18 months in jail and/or a $10,000 fine and could receive up to a lifetime ban on owning animals.
