Sad Day Today

Its a sad day today, i don't know how this always happens but i guess i am just one of the few. Someone Came KNOCKING today. and its Sunday and there's no shops open. this sucks. Warmed My car up today 10-15 mins before i drove it. Got more then half way to work and hear a faint knocking, didn't sound to bad , then it just kept getting louder and louder. and my heart just dropped. Just got my oil changed the other day. and i checked it and it had just a few little bubbles in it. drove maybe three miles that way or so before i got to work. i only have 13k miles about and have no modification done but intake and exhaust. :iono:

bboybillaberFRS 11-16-2014 06:44 PM

My oil was normal before I changed it. And I watched them change my oil at a place up here in astoria

How does that work.

Touge_ninja 11-16-2014 06:53 PM

Defective vehicle. That's not supposed to happen with a new car

jblmr2 11-16-2014 07:12 PM

The Lemon Law is not your first option. Get the car to the dealership and try to resolve it with them first. If that doesn't work get in touch with regional customer service rep for Toyota/Subaru. Google Oregon Lemon Law. You have to fulfill a number of requirements before the lemon law can be invoked, and it will be a major pain in the ass. It's almost always a negotiated settlement, not just you get a new car.

Ya I just looked it up its a lot to be qualified for it. I'll find out tomorrow. Going to take it to the shop tomorrow. Since nothings open today

Found out its #4 that went bad

Do you know what failed yet? Suspect you lost a bearing or valve, both major surgery by engine standards. Hopefully the electronics or something quit and it's an easy fix.

To share a know how you're feeling moment.

I hit a deer two weeks ago coming home from work. I got it fixed and back last week. New front clip, rh headlight, some minor structure, fender, hood and new door. Luckily I didn't bonk the alignment. I drove it to work this last week. Still stinks of paint fumes. My wife curbed it last night and whacked the alignment and ruined the brand freaking new front clip.:brokenheart: The paint work was better than OEM. I'm still not okay with at the moment. It'll pass, but it's gonna take a while.:mad0259::cry: She's too used to driving the Tacoma and bumping the tires.

Good luck.
