Flash GPS into Stock Head Unit?

I didn't want to pay the outrageous fee they were charging to simply flash software into my head unit. Is there a place to go that will do it that isn't the dealership? I mean I can simply just keep using my phone but I would like to unlock the GPS feature of the head unit.

Not positive, but do believe they have to actually add a module to get the GPS function. The button is there but the module for the GPS and apps is not. Pretty sure it isn't just disabled software.
At very least they have to add the receiver/sat antenna as I know that isn't there and the GPS will not work without it.

For GPS they do nothing special except hook up the GPS antenna.

Don't know enough to debate the subject but when I bought mine it had the option already installed and I said I didn't want it. They said they had to pull something out. Can confirm they did something because when I picked up my car part of the dash was not clipped in properly.

This is untrue a GPS unit is added to the radio. There's a few that pop up for same on here for a couple hundred dollars every once in awhile. Got to pay to play.

Stock nav is quite far behind Google Maps, so you're not really missing out on anything. If you really wanted it, it would have been better to negotiate it into your buying agreement and/or financing.
