These are rally drivers. The worse the weather the better. It's so good to see the 86 rallying! I know it's not the fastest car out there but just putting it in the race makes me respect it that much more. I haven't seen a sporty looking coupe in rallying since the Celica GT-Four.

I think he was referring to the potential nuclear radiation from the power plant situation.

It would actually be a pretty fun car to compete in 2WD classes. Wonder if many people will do Rally America....

Ahh... haha, I didn't think about that. Well that's just a whole new level to rallying then. Rally thru the nuclear wasteland! :party0030:

Exactly. And those four reactors still aren't exactly stabilized, even more than a year later; tens of thousands are still displaced from their homes in that region, etc... Just really surprised that event organizers felt it a good idea to hold a race in at that locale. :(

Just shows how quick the little FR-S is. I wonder if it glows in the hot pits at night.

Who knows. Maybe this rally might be donating some money to the disaster. Usually in Japanese culture you're not suppose to have any leisurely activities within 1 year of a disaster/death. If this rally event was donating some money it would make total sense to have it in Fukushima

Here's a radiation map. They might be successfully avoiding it: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-LdLr5QPqPg...ushimazone.png

Do you know what size wheels and tires those are? I can't really see from the pictures. Also, is the suspension height the same as stock, or raised?
