Removing two silver pieces on outside of climate controls & steering wheel plastic
 

Does anyone know how do remove these? I took the radio surround piece off and removed the screw's from the two pieces I'm looking to remove but I can't figure out what's holding them in.

Also need help with removing the silver plastic from steering wheel.

Is there any way to do this without removing the airbag? That make me nervous

You can have someone hold the airbag without disconnecting it if you really want to play it safe, but it absolutely must be removed from the steering column to access the two screws that hold in the plastic.
