Hit and Run SF

Hey everyone

Unfortunately just as the title mentions , I have been involved in a hit and run accident .

The accident happened yesterday while I was in class at SFSU .

I am currently waiting for a tow truck as I type to bring it to B2 Perfection in Sunnyvale (Great shop I recommend if you need bodywork done) .

I personally feel bad for having the car towed since my body shop said they would pay for it and it is a pretty far distance , but since the wheel well of the car is smashed in there is some rubbing while driving .

I think in my previous accident before the damage was far worst but I ended up driving my car all the way back from SF (although I could only make right turns) .

Do you think I made the right decision to get a tow truck this time ? The car is "driveable" but I am afraid something might break on the commute .

I guess I know what I feel in my mind what is right but I just want to hear the opinions of my fellow club-mates .

Ohhh NO!! Dam Pish it can't imagine how you feel right now.

fuuuuuu. Sorry to hear that.

I would have gotten it towed as well, don't want to slice into the tire while driving.

I feel horrible :(

But in all honesty this is not as devastating as the time where someone crashed into me after crashing into another car .

That is exactly what I am thinking , even if the rubbing is light , what if I hit a bump and it punctures my tire and I get into a bigger accident you know ?

Wow. Horrible news, but I'm glad you weren't hurt. You made the right call in towing the car to the shop. Better safe than sorry.

Hope you ride gets back on the road ASAP!

Thanks guys !

You are putting my mind at ease hahaha .

Although I love my car so much , life is not replaceable .

Blessed to be unharmed , hopefully the damage is not too severe .

Damn. Sucks man... Howd you end up with damage to the driver's side rear and the passenger side front??

Ah nm.. i see that it was your earlier accident... crummy luck.

unsurety 11-07-2014 05:08 PM

Sorry Josh :brokenheart: after you finally got your car back fixed up too.

Why are people so selfish? I hate seeing stories like this.

Yea that front damage was from when someone who was distracted by his high passenger and possibly three naked guys in the backseat .

Police reports can be very interesting :o

I don't know , I remember there was a time where I was a passenger in a car that tried to commit a hit and run .

I basically told them if they where not going to write a note for the parked car I was going to wait until they got back to tell them what happened .

I do not wish anything bad to happen to the person who hit my car , I just wish they would own up on their actions .

I was finally getting off work at school , took a small break to change before heading off downtown to close my Starbucks .

The accident delayed me to the point where my whole closing team had to stay way after hours in order to prep for the opening shift since I clocked in almost 3 hours late .
