HWY 39 on a Friday night??

Hi So-cal

I'm visiting in Claremont from nor-cal. I've driven up to the top of hwy 39 during the day before and there was little or no traffic up there. I really enjoyed the road. Has anyone been up there on a Friday night after 10pm? Just curious to know if there is any LEO presence or what kinda characters are hanging out on the turnouts up there.

Cops are rare up there, but I have seen them from time to time. I drive that road maybe 5-6 times a year for fun or to hike in the mountains.

Mostly, you get teenagers making out and dopers smoking weed while looking at the city lights in the turnouts...

^ This. Usually on a Friday night after 10PM you have a pretty high chance of running into a lot of other canyon racers, but it's hit or miss.

usually will encounter a few dead bodies but just ignore them and keep driving

Great road. Sometimes there's cops, but I've never been bothered by them. Use to hit this every weekend.

Honestly that road is just meh compared to what you have back home. When you have 236,9,Felton empire, jamison, ol sc hwy, and all the others I'm forgetting. The roads in socal suck. You WILL be disappointed.
