New "global cup" racing series for 4th gen MX-5

This is great news. Always thought it would only cost $100,000-$150,000 to be a professional race car driver with the previous generation Miata assuming one doesn't slide the car into a wall. Wonder how much it really actually costs to enter after all is said and done?
