Decided I'd chime in again for fun. Like others have said, driving smart and with the right tires will do you just fine. I haven't driven in snow (never even seen fresh powder in my 24 years of life), but people have managed just fine with these cars. The consensus seems to be that the car communicates so well that any slip will be telegraphed to you quite clearly. I've had a couple goes at pushing this car in the rain with stock tires and unless you turn off the nannies you're gonna be planted.

I might hesitate a bit if I lived somewhere where it snowed, but after my first week with this car, I couldn't see myself ever regretting it. You won't be disappointed!
