Testing the new GoPro - Exhaust

Disclaimer: at no point was the speed limit exceeded... :)

Nice flat foot shifting near the end there, still need to get that brilliantly tuned map from you guys!

This is the dyno run we did. Its pretty stingy dyno. A Stock 86 gets 132kw and 199nm on it. Its different dyno to the one we took the 95 pump map to.

Since that run though the car is flowing about 10% more air from a few changes made so its proabably closing in on 160kw on that dyno. Will take it through again sometime to confirm.

GoPro 4 Silver...The raw video is amazingly clear, just Windows Movie Maker which I forgot to set to full HD when I exported it :thumbdown::lol:

A few questions:


1. What exhaust is this?
2. Has anyone blocked up the noise chamber hole?
(Reason I ask is I've just installed a Freeflow and it's pretty loud in the cockpit now)
3. What is the cost of your software and where can it be installed?
4. How easy is it to uninstall when the car goes in for a service?

Hey Andy,

I'm not sure I'm allowed to post prices without being a Vendor so I'll PM you those.

1. Fitted to that car is a Phoenix Performance Kamak header with a BRZ exhaust. It was pretty damn loud so all we did was fit one extra small free flowing silencer at powerflow and it now gives that sound you hear there. Very deep and not too loud.
The header with tuning eliminates that dreaded Torque dip and adds decent overall power and torque.

2. I wouldn't block the hole, rather add a silencer. We checked the logs and the silencer hasn't effected the flow at all.

Are you talking about the sound generator that goes into the cabin? Horrible thing - PLUG IT!

That sound of that sweet sweet UEL header induced rawing exhaust ! Wow! And that smooth map looks damn impressive !

Just a question, the e50 tunes, is there a device to change between the pump fuel map and e50 and normal tune?
