Rev limiter?

Rev limiter. So was messing around today putting some miles on the car. Had all the nannies off and was in manual mode did not mean to do it but I hit the fuel cut off. I thought in this mode it would just bounce off the rev limiter no? My auto tc would bounce and not fuel cut off when autocrossing so just wondering.

What about in the mt? Does it just fuel cut off or does it bounce?

I'm confused, what's the difference? I thought it bounces because of fuel cutoff? My Si does fuel cutout, I'd assume most modern cars handle it that way.

It didn't really bouce it just kinda shut off. My 09 tc would bounce.

It hits limiter at 7400, then rolls it back to about 7 or maybe 7200 and holds it. The drop makes it feel like a hard cut.

That may have been what I felt. It scared me so I up shifted right away. Didn't mean to do it.
