Help Brz headunit bluetooth not broadcasting!
I need help I have had my Brz for nearly a year now without any bluetooth connection problems with my phone, until yesterday. It just randomly decided to stop working all together. It seems to not be broadcasting a bluetooth signal so my phone can not see it. I tired a hard reboot (disconnecting all the wires), deleting profiles and trying to pair with my phone again. But this is the weird part when I try to scan for surrounding bluetooth using the headunit it immediately says error without actually scanning. Anyone else experience a similar issue?

This happened to me when i upgraded my Iphone to the new operating system, but when I updated it again ios 8.1 it fixed the problem.

I had the same problem on this thread here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68086 Ended up needing a replacement head unit from dealer. Was free but took forever because it's ordered from Japan. Dealer also told me they wouldn't replace it again because I had a backup camera wired up. It was not even connected to the headunit so obviously was not the cause of the problem but they were just being sticklers I suppose. Anyway no problems with bluetooth since the replacement, good luck! |
