No. That is not the definition of bespoke. Bespeak in this context means to order something made to your specifications, like a tailored shirt made of whole cloth to your measurements. Bespoke is the past tense of that, meaning the resulting product is a made-to-order custom item. You bespeak your requirements to the designer, and the resulting product is bespoke. Did a specific BRZ customer provide the specifications for these rims? I don't think so. There are companies that have "bespoke" divisions where they make custom items to specific customers' specifications. These rims are not that.
If one person had wheels designed and produced specially for his car that nobody else had, that would be bespoke. If Justin Bieber contracted with Enkei to make him a special set of gold plated rims for his chromed Fisker, that would be bespoke. If he had a baseball cap made from whole cloth to fit perfectly while it sits sideways on his head, which he had measured for the purpose, that would be bespoke.
If a company orders 1000 sets of wheels for a limited edition run of a car, that is not bespoke, it's a mass production. It may be a limited edition, but it's still not bespoke, because they were not made to order for a specific car to a specific customer's needs. If Justin Bieber bought a stock Series.Blue, the rims would still not be bespoke, because they would be just like every other set of Series.Blue rims. If Justin Bieber started selling copies of his stupid sideways hats, those copies would not be bespoke, even if the original item was.
I'm going on about this because it's something that irritates me about Scion's bullshit marketing. The "Bespoke" radio in the FR-S is not bespoke at all. It's just another mass produced unit. I suspect the marketing people who came up with that were too stupid to know the difference, and now they have people who don't know any better using the word incorrectly.
