Wheel/tire clearance noob

Hey guys, I know there are mutiple pages showing how flush stuff will be and blah blah but i did not find any solid answers on what i was looking for.. so my question to you guys is...

I am dropped on ST coilovers at the maximum drop

That is roughly the clearance i have, i believe it is 2'in drop front and rear or something of the sorts

I want to go with 18x9.5+40 wheels, will it fit? will it rub? And what tire size do you suggest?

Edit: I don't have spacers or any camber adjustments

Oh god. What makes you think they wouldn't fit?? Run some cheap spc arms in the back and you're good.

There is an entire thread dedicated to what wheels fit, with links to threads showing pictures of how they fit...

255/35-18 or 265/35-18 are generally the best fits for a 9.5" wheel. I'd opt for the 255s. Both tires sizes will be taller than the OEM units, the 255s by a total of ~0.3" and the 265s by ~0.6".

Do you have the power to drive rubber that wide, or is this more for looks?

more for looks currently, power is coming slowly but surely.

Thank you by the way :) for actually a real, not rude and informative answer!

A 255 will handle a good deal of power (300 RWHP for sure), so you'll have plenty of headroom with 9.5" wheels/tires.
