Actually he paid for his just like everyone else. He might have gotten a little discount, but definitely not free.

He verbally told me so in person when I was hanging with him for a minute at Rd.2 Formula Drift (Road Atlanta). I have spoken with him quite a few times over the years. Enough that he recognizes me anyway..
