F1 USGP - 11/2/14

I'm assuming some of the Austin guys will be attending. Is anyone from Dallas going this weekend?

I just won a pair of tickets for the Sunday race so I'm doing some last minute planning here. This will be my first F1 race. Any tips/advice on parking and the race in general? We're probably going to stay with our friends there. Not sure if I want to take the FRS down in case I have to park in the dirt section.

Good thing I just read the guide to pooping at COTA on Jalopnik a couple of days ago. So I pretty much have that covered. :burnrubber:

From what I heard, getting to the track itself was pretty bad (I think there's just one road linking to the circuit?). I wouldn't recommend bringing the FRS there if you drive a standard.

Other than that, hope you have a great time there!

Plenty of decent Parking lots nearby at cota. I am here now, if u get of fml 12 I think it is and go past the track. There is a few parking lots that are concrete on your right. Prices range form 10 to 20 dollars. I have 2 in of ground clearance and parked in lot q a gravel lot just fine. I have done grass is the past just if it's super cool in the am it can get wet/muddy later.

Thanks! I'm not sure what time is best to get out there on Sunday. I would imagine it to be super packed no matter whate time. Are you going tomorrow and Sunday as well? How are you liking the sound of the new V6?
