i quite like this too, reminds me of the Nissan X-Trail for some reason...

Does anyone know anything about how much of a discount Toyota employees will get?
ps. Also wondering if I should have created a new thread for this.. |

fullsize spare is really, really stupid. not only because of boot space, but also because of the added weight.
GT boot tray + space saver off ebay. |
Il take the tire out and stick a tube of tire weld in there :p

I am only waiting for confirmation with the discount before i order my 86. Any recommended dealerships in Melbourne? The one in Deer Park apparently aren't taking pre orders when I last visited a week ago.. |
I'm really tossing up between the GT and GTS. Extra 6.5k really pushes it a bit high for me.

is this that stuff in a spray can? its really, really bad. unbalances the wheel/tire, adds weight and is a pain to clean off the barrel of the wheel once you get around to getting new tires. |
Damn Im so happy I have to post again in this thread. May be a while before I take delivery on my car but I'm very happy with the price. Seven thousand cheaper than what I was prepared to pay. This will be my first Toyota and I'm looking forward to it. :burnrubber: Now its time to order aftermarket goodies while I wait.

Is it really worth 5.5k. Prob not. Do I want it. Hell yeah. Personal choice in the end. |

Used it once. Yeah tyre places hate it. Takes ages to clean up and pretty much stuffs the tyre. Calling roadside assis, would be best. I'm thinking space saver spare and have a flat boot. I always carry a puncture repair kit. Most times I can repair the tyre while still on the car, just if it goes flat close by a petrol station so I can refill with air. I hate those cuts and holes on the side wall of the tyre :iono: tyre straight in the bin. What kind of full size spare is it ?????? The actual rim ? Or just a steely ? Hopefully the actual rim, a spare in case u buckle one of the originals. Damm Sydney potholes !!!!!! |
I think the GTS has a rim, and the gt a steelie
the 8 has a enkei space saver-removed in mine- and a tire repair kit-factory-with a 12v air compressor |
carsales.com.au has been updated with stock that is available australia wide at this stage.
check it out, there are a couple GTS manual statewide. Silver seems to the least sought after colour |

Defintely seems nobody wants the grey and silver. |
White GTS AT available at Pacific Toyota Cairns now. They didn't want to sell it to me for the same price as the Black GTS MT that I ordered :sigh:.
The salesman I used is Barry Sudmalis - 40307516 (so far seems like a good guy). I'm not benefitting in anyway from this, just thought someone might like to get their hands on one early. |

Financing the car, It all depends on you how much deposit you are able to lay down and term of the loan , rates etc etc . There are various options available in the market to finance a car, you just need to work out which one will suit you best. - Personal Loan through through the big 5 major banks , rates will be around 12% onwards - Car Finance (secured) through a broker or Toyota dealer expect to pay around 8% ~ 9% in rates Refer to this website for up-to-date rates and different products . http://www.canstar.com.au/ If you borrow $30,000 @ 9.00% over a 5 year term - Your monthly repayments will be around $620. |
Hey guys I'm from Perth. Just placed my deposit for the 86GT (manual, velocity orange). Paid $33,900 no extras apart from full tank of fuel. But he tried to charge me for the carpet mats till I told him its std spec and should be included anyway. So yea pretty excited...but gotta wait at least 6 months now.

$38,650 Drive Away BRZ Manual
only option was the Heated leather seats hey I do live in Canberra.
Collected her this morning. |
How come in july 2013 it become $40.000?
|
Hi, not sure if this is the right thread, I work for a Sydney Dealership and can let people know when we have fall overs (cancelled orders due to people who usually couldn't wait or their finance didn't go through). Doesn't happen often but beats waiting for 6-8 months. These are new cars not demos, i.e never been rego'd and usually only a month away.
If this is not allowed pls just delete, I'll get the hint not to talk about it again, all good. |
Hey guys
What is the approximate price increase on the 86 GTS now that it has the OEM spoiler as stock? Cheers |
Good deal.......but how much this car will depreciate, I mean in 3 years time how much the resale value would be?
|
Benoh, its $500 more now, not a big fan even though mine has got it. The 2014 model also has the "TOYOTA" badging removed which i think looks better. Moss, its hard to say but i would guess a 2016 GTS with...40,000kms would go for like $23,000. Might be wrong though.

Greetings all,
What's the average turnaround time from order/deposit to delivery nowadays for a new BRZ? Since these cars aren't sold exclusively online anymore, has anyone paid less than RRP driveaway? I'm contemplating on a BRZ since the hype has died down :) I thought I could live without a manual sports car, but I've been having withdrawal symptoms lol |
