Damn Im so happy I have to post again in this thread. May be a while before I take delivery on my car but I'm very happy with the price. Seven thousand cheaper than what I was prepared to pay. This will be my first Toyota and I'm looking forward to it. :burnrubber: Now its time to order aftermarket goodies while I wait.

I just have it in my 8 for legal reasons. If I have a blow out I am calling racq regardless to get a tow. With the way ppl drive, last thin I want is to be changing a drivers side wheel on the side of the road..

It's an extra 5.5k , not much of a difference though.

Is it really worth 5.5k. Prob not. Do I want it. Hell yeah.

Personal choice in the end.

Once you get around to getting new tyres. ? Think you need to take the tyre off the car pretty quickly. Think the foam only lasts for 50km ? With 80km/h max rating.

Used it once. Yeah tyre places hate it. Takes ages to clean up and pretty much stuffs the tyre.

Calling roadside assis, would be best. I'm thinking space saver spare and have a flat boot.

I always carry a puncture repair kit. Most times I can repair the tyre while still on the car, just if it goes flat close by a petrol station so I can refill with air.

I hate those cuts and holes on the side wall of the tyre :iono: tyre straight in the bin.

What kind of full size spare is it ?????? The actual rim ? Or just a steely ?

Hopefully the actual rim, a spare in case u buckle one of the originals. Damm Sydney potholes !!!!!!

I think the GTS has a rim, and the gt a steelie
the 8 has a enkei space saver-removed in mine- and a tire repair kit-factory-with a 12v air compressor

carsales.com.au has been updated with stock that is available australia wide at this stage.

check it out, there are a couple GTS manual statewide.

Silver seems to the least sought after colour

If you could get them at those dealers it would be great. But the prob for people who have to wait is that dealers would be unwilling to swap for them especially interstate cars, as the transport costs would be pretty high, they probably dont have a car to swap back, and also would you really trust your pride and joy with a bunch of toll truck drivers?

Defintely seems nobody wants the grey and silver.

White GTS AT available at Pacific Toyota Cairns now. They didn't want to sell it to me for the same price as the Black GTS MT that I ordered :sigh:.
The salesman I used is Barry Sudmalis - 40307516 (so far seems like a good guy).
I'm not benefitting in anyway from this, just thought someone might like to get their hands on one early.

$34,999 sounds little excessive for the GT manual, unless you have some add ons built in the price

Financing the car, It all depends on you how much deposit you are able to lay down and term of the loan , rates etc etc . There are various options available in the market to finance a car, you just need to work out which one will suit you best.

- Personal Loan through through the big 5 major banks , rates will be around 12% onwards
- Car Finance (secured) through a broker or Toyota dealer expect to pay around 8% ~ 9% in rates

Refer to this website for up-to-date rates and different products .
http://www.canstar.com.au/

If you borrow $30,000 @ 9.00% over a 5 year term - Your monthly repayments will be around $620.
