Looking great! did you basically just use spray adhesive and work on it?

Yes i used spray-glue for the A-Pillars, but some different glue for the headliner, which i bought from a upholsterer.

I really like the gray alcantara, since it brightens up the interior.
(The dashboard in my BRZ is in Black Alcantara, so there is nothing bright in my interior)
how did your headliner get so "dirty"?

it didn't really look dirty at a glance, but it was a bit darker shade than when the car was new. i also smoked in that car which probably contributed a lot to it hahah. i agree that lighter color headliners make a huge difference in brightening up the interior, but i've always just preferred the way black headliners/pillars look.

Oh ok, I think smoking makes a slight difference :)

 good job. I like it!

How long did it take you?

Time invested:?
Difficulty:?

I'm planning to do this over the Winter and I've been doing some research here and there.

It took me overall probably 8-10h, since I have never done this before.
The most time consuming is the Headliner-alcantara-wrap :) getting all the moulds perfectly without any "bubbles" etc.

difficulty? I think it was very difficult for me, like I said I have never done this before, but if you have enough free time it is manageable.
for example the a-pillars i had to re-do, since it was under too much pressure, so the glue did not work perfect.

I hope this helps some how :)
and thanks for the comment!

I'm the process of switching to black suede; I'll post my FRS when I'm done. Nice work!

SHould've gone black

Unfortunately, the color you chose, kind of makes the car look dated (in a bad way).

I like it.... I for one am tired of everything being black. I think the gray looks good.
