The things that are 3/4" mdf is the main top baffle and the baffle/spacers that the sub sits in. and a few very small small strips that prop up the spacer for the front floor. Everything else, including the top floor, trim, etc, is out of 1/2" or 3/8" mdf :)
as far as how much it weights, quite light actually, remember i was able to build it all out of the car and by myself, easily lift the whole thing into the car as a whole piece. i would guestimate this whole thing:

is roughly around 30-40lbs at the most, it was quite easy getting it into the trunk. i would say on the whole, net weight gain for this install in the back is maybe 30 lbs. keeping in mind that the spare tire, while a donut, is not that light. infact, i would venture to say that a rear ward facing mdf box with a sub and amps sitting above the floor would add just as much weight to the car.
besides, is 30 lbs extra right behind the rear axle really too terrible for a car with 53/47 stock weight distribution? :D
