Condense your logs for datazap.me

Hey guys,

A lot of the time I find myself wanting to view logs on datazap.me, but my logs are either a little bit over 2MB with OFT or quite a bit over with Tactrix. Sometimes I still want to see the entire log, or it's simply painful to load into Excel and crop a bunch of it out.

I wrote a small utility that will shrink my logs down to 2MB. This will basically make it useless as raw data for tuning, but will still allow visualization. Useful for you guys? Here's a sample of what the output will look like, reduced from a ~98 minute 24MB Tactrix file. http://datazap.me/u/phrosty/test-2

To use, drag a .csv on to the exe. It'll process it and output a new x_2MB.csv file in the same location once it's done. Requires .NET 4.5. I haven't really done anything to make it "easy" to use, so YMMV. Let me know if there are any bugs.

mate sounds good,

so this utility wizes through log and basicly reduces sampling rate to get log down to 2Mb ??

Effectively yes. It performs linear resampling -- basically blending adjacent samples into one. You can see this effect readily in the fueling status column where it'll have some number between 2 and 4 as it transitions between CL/OL.
