The horrors of rocks

I was driving on the 110 north when I saw kids standing on the bridge cross which is sunset and near beaudry. Me an a few other cars were hit but my damage was far too extensive compared to other cars.
I got back in the car and tried to curl into a fetus because the damage was horrible. QQ http://puu.sh/cq3iw/17afec37d9.jpg

Went for estimate highest was 1.95k to fix.... Fml

The hood is the softest metal (aluminum) on the car. My hood has several dents, but the paint is intact thanks to 3M.

You should have hopped out of your car and chased those little runts down!!

aznatama 10-25-2014 01:17 PM

That's why you call the cops on them.

Carbon hood time?

Couldn't there was no exit for another mile under the bridge going 15 mph. By the time I got on sunset they were gone. I saw the damage and again curled into a fetus.

If there was traffic... I would've stopped, got out, taken picture of the a-holes.

Carbon hood. Problem solved.

OR

PDR if you want to keep it close to OEM. I bet paint matching on Halo is more of a PITA then Whiteout.

Just got estimate 1.95k if I didn't mention before. That stage 3 paint process is annoying

I got a similar single dent in that same spot, on the way home from buying my new car!

Yes, it sucked, but I figured the first ding was out of the way.

Have not fixed it yet, I think it adds a little character to the car.

No dings since....................

Good luck

Pat

Why not file an insurance claim? Isn't this the purpose of comprehensive?

Depends on his deductible. If it's close to $1000, he might as well just get a carbon hood and call it a day.
