Picked up the FR-S yesterday...
 

Just got mine... The car is fun and sporty. Not the fastest but I don't intend driving it like a race car anyway... It definitely gets a lot of looks and comments. I'll be patiently waiting for decent upgrades...

Manual and a few add ons for a sticker of 25,551 with "destination fee".

Does the black color is metalic "sparkle" black or just regular flat black?

It has some metallic flaking. You probably have to see it in person and pretty close to it under good lighting.

For the FR-S I believe all the colors are metallic except for Firestorm and Whiteout. Firestorm is nonmetallic, and Whiteout is pearlescent.

Yep, Firestorm is definitely nonmetallic. That was the thing that sold me on taking the Ultramarine instead - once I saw the Firestorm in person it was a lot less interesting to me. If it had been a metallic red (like the concept) I would have been all over it.

1: PITA to keep clean
2: Masks the lines in the car

I thought I was the only person that notices number 2. Black cars remind me of Noob Saibot from MK. All I can see is the profile.:D

Thanks everyone... What do I plan on doing with it? Good question.. Today I installed the alarm, replaced the ugly green factory valve stem caps, installed red LED's under the dash (connected to the parking light fuse) and super cleaned it inside and out... Dash really shines with some gloss protections... Tomorrow I'll probably contact my local tinting place and schedule up that appointment...

Body wise I saw a kit that was coming soon that didn't look too bad but I'd like to see another option or two... Performance... heck, who knows... better exhaust, cold air intake at least I guess... Not to sure on whats available otherwise... I'm sure as time goes on I'll figure it out... Gotta start somewhere..
