Pilot Super Sports Look Stretched?

I was just wondering if anybody else running Michelin Pilot Super Sports have a stretched look? The tire size is 245/40/17 on 17x9 Enkei RPF1s. Blah my OCD is killing me :mad0260:

I wouldn't really call that "stretched", sure its not as meaty as a 255 would be.

As an example I am running a 255 on a 17x9 and thats a meatier look if thats what you wanted.

PSS just have a rounded shoulder, thats all. definitely not stretched.

They have an extended lip to protect the edge of the rim a lot like the stock HPs. This makes tires look stretched even if they're the right size.

thank you all! I was just concerned since I see other people who have pss with squared shoulders...

I have the same tires and wheels and I thought the same thing. I think 255s would've looked perfect.

9" is fine for a 245, and a little stretch like that helps stiffen the tire.

Can you tell me where you got those red lug nuts? I was getting red ones but found only extremely long ones. I don't want them to be too long.
