Button under footwell

OK, so, I have a question here. While adjusting the clutch in my FRS I came across this button right under the foot well. I pressed it, tried to see what it does and could not find anything. Can anyone help me find out what this button does?

I'd have to get one on my break. I'm sorry.

i see you are driving a 10 series: it's a switch that turns on/off this light thing on your psgr side dash. it lights up when a door is opened.

Thank you. In all honesty I expected more from that button. Maybe, I expected to much.

You were expecting 50hp LOL, I would.

That explains why I was baffled I don't have one.
Sure it isn't the 007 issue and that is for the passenger seat?
