I wish, I've been waiting for someone to post a e85/JRSC equipped car's time forever and nothing :iono:

Ran Sacramento raceway yesterday. First run hit traction control and cut power to the wheels, hitting a 14.5. Then I ran a 14.158 with with traction off and sport mode, this is with a let off before the end (14.2 dial in). This is with the kraftwerks c30 Carb tune.
I think it could easily run a high 13 with the right conditions, but we didn’t get a second chance to practice before we dialed in a time. So I didn’t know what it would put down without traction control. My friends are doing test n tunes next month and it should be in the 13s then.

Mods:
Kraftwerks c30 CARB tune
Perrin 2.5 catback
Gram light 57dr 17x9
Almost used up hankook v12

Yikes at that 60 foot difference. If you could cut that down to the same 2.1 as the first run, you'd be in the lower 13s.

Hopefully, I'll get a new run without traction control limiting the power.

What is considered a good 60' time? I don't expect good times with stock struts and Eibach lowering springs. I also didn't wanna launch hard and break something.

I haven't run mine yet, but looking through the stockish times on this thread and I'd say a 2.0-2.1 would be attainable with a good launch. If you have stickier tires than stock maybe even a bit better.

Knocking half a second off the launch would equate to much more than that by the end of the quarter.

My 1995 Integra GS-R with 175K miles ran a time very similar to this.
1/4mi 14.267secs @ 96.570MPH
1/8mi 9.211 @ 77.980MPH
60ft 2.223secs

That was on Bridgestone RE730s back in 2004. Mostly stock car. Type-R A-pipe to tip. Type-R pistons. Koni Yellows with Ground Control coilovers with ERS 500lbs/in F, 500lbs/in R. Type-R rear ARB. Lightened OEM flywheel down to 13lbs. HomeDepot special dryer hose into the wheel well CIA. I loved pissing guys off at the track with that car. Hahaha

Long story short, seems like your car would be faster than this with those mods.

that trap and ET are odd...Do you happen to know what your DA was that night? for reference, I ran :
2.191 60'
6.149 330'
9.395 @ 76.81 1/8
12.169 1000'
14.521 @ 94.8 1/4
at a DA of 1260ft. spare/jack/baby seat still in the car and all tires at normal pressure.

Not sure exactly. It was in the winter if I recall and it was in Gainesville, FL so basically at sea level. I did this run with all the mats removed, spare tire jack and rear seat back. The GSR was a 5 speed and didn’t have super short gears. 3rd ran out around 93mph and once you shifted to 4th it didn’t pull that fast so the trap isn’t all that high.

I coordinated with a friend of mine and plan to go to the strip on April 21st with my FRS for the first time. It will be interesting to get a base run out of it.

Yeah, I definitely think I can be faster with more practice. That time was ran on my 9th? time down the track. I definitely improved my launching that night though. I'll go again after I put some wider wheels and better tires on the car.

Submarinesonce 03-28-2018 10:26 AM

oops, quoted the wrong post, I meant to ask funnygopher what his DA was

If I recall from my years of frequent trips to the drag strip to unnecessarily abuse my daily driver, lots of wheel spin would typically translate to a bad ET but high trap speed. He had a higher 60ft so maybe he had more wheel spin which impacted his trap speed.

After doing some googling for temperature, pressure, etc. for the area that night, the DA came out to 2072 feet.

its interesting to compare our runs after DA correcting them. I did some calculations. DA corrected you ran a 14.273@99.538 compared to my 14.327 @ 96.194 ...that Ace header makes some impressive top end power. I might have had you at 1/8th mile, then you pull away to win by .054 and about half a car (7' 7") but 3 mph faster means youll keep on pulling.
