I had some big problems with launching and need to learn some things about how to launch. I would spin all the way through first but grab good in second.

First run of the night
2.8800 60'
14.8699 1/4 mile
100.94 MPH

Second run of the night
2.5521 60'

Third run of the night
2.6830 60'
14.8930 1/4 mile
97.88 MPH

Last run of the night
2.6980 60'

Drags were in Guam on a most likely not perfect track in about 85* weather.

Looking forward to updated times!

Unbelievable! You and Delicious have amazing numbers for an essentially bolt on 86!

Best run of the night at OSW it was probably around 80 degrees. And even the awd drive guys were whining about track conditions.

This is full street weight. Plus me (225) on a stage 2 e85 oft tune. 4500 rpm launch about 80% throttle. On Firestone firehawk wide oval a/s tires.

I feel like I should be running a drop faster considering 14.8 was my best time.

Thanks

It's only a Bolt-on 86 with a 1,000 Hours of tuning & parts develop.

Now the car is dedicated Track Car (Time Attack & Solo 1).

Went to the track with my car, ran a pretty good time for a car with no power mods.

The car only has a catback for weight reduction purposes. With a better 60ft i think it can only improve.

Had a 2.3 60ft will post the slip once i have a PC it does not want to upload from my phone. Weight reduction goes a long way.

Every tenth of a second off the 60' is going to drop roughly two tenths off the ET. A 14.8 with a 2.3 60' would be closer to 14.2 with a 2.0 60'.

Trap speed will be a decent indicator of power, ET is an indication of traction and driver.

Yeah i know, that is why i say if i get better 60ft it should improve. With the 14.68@ stock power level with a 2.3 60ft. It should be closer to a 14.0 with a decent launch and a 2.0 60ft

With a better hookup you have a low 14 second car. I'm in the orlando area also.

Funny, I had a '65 Mustang years ago with a 289 ci (a little under 5 liters) V8 generating about 200 horsepower. It weighed 2735 lbs "curb weight". Four speed stick shift. The original rear end was a 3.00 and it ran about a 15.80 in the quarter. Not all that fast. Now I have an FR-S, about 2753 lbs curb weight with 200 hp, and the car will run a 14.80 quarter, a full second faster than the Mustang. The reason: the rear end is a 4.10 and the transmission has six gears instead of four. That's progress. :burnrubber:

Oh, and this also was in Orlando with the Mustang; Central Florida Dragway in Bithlo. "Friday Night under the lights!" Are they still in business?
