Black the windows out and put some "free candy" stickers on the side. Lemme know what happens!

Just FYI, this is a deal-breaker for most if push came to shove. CA law states the seller must provide valid smog certificate for purposes of title transfer.

Caveat emptor.

Owner testimonial....

I had a 1989 and a 2000 Chevy Astro. the '89 went to over 250,000 miles and the 2000 went to over 289,000 miles. If I needed this type of vehicle again I would not hesitate to buy another. This is probably the most unsung workhorse Chevy ever built. They should not have stopped building them.

The '89 was still running when I sold it to buy the 2000. The 2000 ate its motor bearings at 289K, but had never been in the shop for a non-maintenance issue until that point.

For anyone that is interested there is a whole subculture that does LS swaps on these bad boys. In the early models at least, it was a direct bolt-up to the transmission with a wiring harness and some engine mount adjustments. I thought about doing it to the 2000...still kinda wish I had.
