Scion Fr-s 10 Series Dash Removal

Hey Guys,

I am trying to dip the fake carbon dashboard on my FRS. I was able to take the trim around the navigation off just fine, but the bigger piece is wired and I did not see any easy clips. Has one one successfully taken off the dash piece without cutting the wires?

it should come right off the same way as the center piece. hold your hands palm facing the dash and place your fingers on top and thumbs on the bottom. squeeze/press up with your thumbs and rotate it up/out.

I am able to pop it off, but since I have the 10 series there is a wire the powers the special glowing dash.

might as well cut the wire. Once you dip it, it won't be visible anyways.

Or.... follow the wire back to a connector and unplug it like a smart person would.
